Hi Again!

Hiiiiiiiiii! I'm back again! (If you can't tell, I'm trying to keep up with my blogging again) I have some interesting news! That guy who hadn't given me an answer on going out...? Well he gave me one and...he said yes! When I told my best friend about it, she was almost crying! I don't know why. My mom actually did cry when I told her. Again, I don't know why. Haha

I only have 3 more plushies left to sew and 4 more add ons to make. I'm getting there! W00T!

Also, I have decided on a costume for ACen! I'm gonna go as Gaara of the Sand from Naruto! *SPOILER ALERT!* Interesting fact about Gaara, he and Naruto turn out to be cousins! I know, kinda shocking! But not entirely unexpected once you think about it.

LONG TIME NO BLOG!

WOW! I have been away forever! It has been way too long and I have so much to update you on!

First things first! Remember that guy I had a date with a while back? It didn't work out, but its ok because we've decided to remain friends. Luckily its not in the awkward friends way either!

Second thing! I went to Ramencon! W00T! It was so much fun! My friends told me it was eerie how much I looked like the character I was dressed as. Now I have to plan my costume for ACen this coming April, I'm thinking either Hinata, Gaara, or Oruchimaro from Naruto. My friend is making this awesome Hiruko costume and someone told me I should go as Sasori to totally troll him.

Thirdly! I have found a new(old by now) anime 'obsession' as my bro and mean friends would call it. Its called Hetalia! I just love them! It makes history and geography completely hilarious! In Hetalia, all(or most) of the countries are people! Its so weird but its so much fun! I'm only on episode 17 yet I am already a total 'Hetalian'. This is Hetalia sort of haha:

Fourth! I took a chance and asked this other guy I know out and I have yet to get an answer...its been almost a week since I asked him and I have talked to him today and yesterday but he didn't say anything about it...*sigh* I really don't have the best luck with guys.

Fifth! I have a friend in a different state who for the longest time had asked(told) me to help him ask out our other friend. I tried helping...hasn't done really anything. Now he started joking around saying that he and I should date...its gone on so long that I'm not entirely sure he's joking any more...its getting kind of awkward.

Sixth! Two of my friends(including the guy I asked out) asked me to help them make an abridged series of .Hack because they need a female voice and the one guy doesn't cut it. Haha

Lastly! I AM MAKING MOCHIS(small, white, round, plushies) FOR CHRISTMAS GIFTS! ALL HAND SEWN! I HAVE 3 WEEKS TO FINISH 6 MORE PLUS 6 ADD-ONS! YIKES!!!!!

RailCats Opening Night!

Last night was SO much fun! But it was upsetting that the RailCats lost. Anyhoot! It was my best friend's first time at a RailCats game and she had a lot of fun! And she kept seeing people she knew! We actually saw our friend's boyfriend, 'Scarecrow' as we call him, waiting in the ticket line one over from us. We rode to the game in my mom's friends' van. I was a party bus pretty much! It had blue lights underneath, shades on all the windows inside, stereo speakers all around inside, and it was so open inside! On the way back, my friend was passed out! Thats surprising with all the sugar we ate. When she woke up, she told me of how once she fell asleep drinking a milkshake at Steak n' Shake! How random is that?! I'll leave you on that note! Bu-bye!

OMB!

Oh My Bob! Ok, so tomorrow is my mom's best friends Jackie and Joe's 43th aniversary! We are going to a RailCats game to celebrate and I'm bringing my best friend Nora with me so that I won't be a 5th wheel. Then this guy I've liked for a while asked me out today! Then bad news time. My best friend's clingy ex-boyfriend asked her out again but she doesn't want to go back out with him! He just doesn't seem to get it though...not good. Her and I are handling this situation though! Luck!

Only 4 More Days!

I still cannot believe there are only 4 days of school left! The year went by so fast! Oh my gosh! I'm still shocked. The only downside is the big end of the year Finals tests and projects. I am honestly as nervous as can me with these tests. But if I freak myself out, that is when I will do bad. I have to study, get plenty of rest, make sure to eat a good breakfast, and stay calm. Then, hopefully, I will do good. Wish me luck!

Weird Habit

I discovered a weird habit of my dog, Bessie. She was begging from me when I was drinking my tea like I was eating food. To get her to stop I started petting her foot because...I don't really know why exactly. Anyway! When I started petting her feet, she started blinking...a lot. When I stopped, Bessie stopped blinking. I tried it again on and off for a while and that kept happening. It's so weird! I just wanted to share this weird little story...so, I guess that's it! Bye!

ECA Uh-oh!

I am in no way excited for the ECA testing but oh well, I have no choice. At least this means that the school year is almost over and that I survived my freshman year! Wooh! I am signing up for summer school though so I will only get a total of about 5 weeks of summer off. That is a bit of a bummer but it will be worth getting Health class and Speech out of the way.

No Avengers =^(

Unfortunetly, I didn't see The Avengers today. On the bright side, I helped my grandma, got 2 days of homework done before 6:30, and am getting homemade french fries with dinner! (I love homemade french fries more than frozen store bought.) I also got my  mom to finally read a story I had written. She said it was good and that made me happy. I can always go and see The Avengers another time.

Thor! God of Thunder!

I finally saw Thor! And it was awesome! I get to go see The Avengers tomorrow! I can't wait! My friend was gonna come with too but she has other plans. Both of us were upset but there is nothing we can do.
Two other movies I want to see are The Raven and Dark Shadows. Dark Shadows is based on the old soap opera Dark Shadows, I remember watching a few episodes with my mom growing up. Thats surprising because it is really old! I'm so excited to see it...if I can.

Filler!

My Aunt Cherie just got a job as a baker at Strack and Van Til's! My mom is training her on icing cakes and such. My mom has 30 years experience in baking so the training is going well! I hope they decide to keep my aunt! Again, Fingers crossed!


Also, random but I love Evanescence, Piller, and Skillet right now! Especially the songs "Bring Me to Life", "Not Without a Fight", and "Monster"! (in order with artists) I highly recommend them!

Dancing in the Halls!

Alright, I'm not exactly sure how she did this but this morning my friend Emily got me to dance in the hallway with her! It was so funny! But since I only danced a little, she said that she is going to make me dance again on Monday by playing Sandstorm on her Ipod! *note* This morning we were dancing to Cupid Shuffle. *end note*
Any-whoot! It was fun! Although I am not very good at dancing NOT with a video game giving me the steps, I'm actually looking foward to it!

ACen!

This weekend is ACen! It's Chicago's largest anime convention! I can't wait to go! My dad is taking me and I am extatic! I am dressing up as Hungary, otherwise known as Elizabeta, from Hetalia! Two of my friends were going to ride with me but neither can go now. But I am still meeting up with a group of different friends there. I also found out that my crazy cousin Tyler is going with his girlfriend! I seriously hope I run into them! Fingers crossed!

The Vampire Lestat MOVIE!

Ok, so the first and third books in the Vampire Chronicles series by Anne Rice have been made into movies and now the second one might become one too! The Vampire Lestat might FINALLY become a movie! And there's a rumor going around that Rober Downy Jr. might play Lestat! That's REALLY hard for me to see! HAHA! I can't wait! Also I got dive-bombed by butterflies yesterday when we went outside for biology. They were mocking me!

Really REALLY Weird!!!!!

Ok, first I want to say Happy Friday the 13th! Next, I am reading The Vampire Lestat and it is getting REALLY weird! I don't know how to describe it! My friend Ben has just started it too so I told him what he has to look foward to. Another thing weird is that I sat at my friends lunch table near the end like usual but this girl I didn't know was sitting next to me and was making fun of  my bizarre laugh. Of course, this only made me laugh harder and that just made the situation worse! I was laughing so hard it started to hurt!

PruHun!

I have started shipping, that is following/supporting, and new fandom or fan made pairing for two characters on the show Hetalia! Its a pairing of the "AWESOME" Prussia and Hungary! (Gilbert and Elizaveta) I just think that they are so cute together even though Hungary will occasionally hit Prussia with a cast-iron frying pan. I know most of you who read this will have absolutely NO clue as to what I'm talking about so I don't know what to do about that. For those who do understand, all I have to say is "Pastaaaaaaaa!"

Oh! And this is what Hungary and Prussia look like! Normal and when they were kids!  

GO GO POWER RANGERS!

Over break I watched "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie" with my older brother and was laughing up a storm! Not at the movie, at Ryan! He grew up with the Power Rangers and was naming all of the characters, creatures, and so on. I'm surprised he remembered them yet at the same time not surprised at all! Ryan hasn't watched them in years and that movie came out in 1995. He said it made him feel old because he didn't think it was that old. Also in the movie, everytime the characters spoke as the Rangers, there was some 'ninja-arm-movement' that went with it. It just seemed silly to me. =)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody! And happy birthday Emma! (My friend Emma at Hannover, her birthday is St. Patrick's day!) And yes I know it's on Saturday but still, I can't wait to look like a leprechaun and go to her birthday party! Im so excited! I hope you have an Irish-potatoe-tastic day Saturday! And remember: Beware The Evil Leprechauns! 

Vampire Chronicles!!!!!

My new obsession is the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice! My friend Calyn Tink lent me the books and Oh My Bob! I love it! I grew up watching Interview with the Vampire with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Antonio Banderas! I am now on the second book The Vampire Lestat!

Wings of the Wicked

Ok so I am really excited! A book I had read last year called, Angelfire, has a sequal! Its called Wings of the Wicked! I can't wait to get it!

The Godfather!

It's Godfather week! Yay! It's the 40 year anniversary of when The Godfather first came out! They are great movies! If you haven't seen them, I highly recommend looking for them on tv or renting them. It reminds my mother of her family heritage, no joke! Her grandfather worked for Al Capone as  an alcohol-runner during the prohibition in Chicago, IL. He originally came from Sicily and his name was Clare Bonaminio (bon-a-meaney-oh).  We have his arrival papers from Ellis Island, NY back in 1929. The history of Sicilians is truely amazing! (The Godfather came from Sicily as well) 

Yellow Thursdays!

Everyone wear yellow on Thursdays! Yay! You might be a bit confused why I am excited about that so let me explain. My friend's grandpa thinks its a bad thing to wear yellow on Thursdays but we dont entirely understand it. We dont see anything wrong with it since yellow is a perfectly happy color and so we try to wear it on Thursdays! If that still confuses any of you, I dont know what to tell you. =)

Hetalia!

I'm happy! I just went to Otaku Hobbies, its an anime/comics store near LC, and I got a Norway bag and a Hungary keychain! Norway and Hungary are characters in Hetalia made after countries! Here is a pic of it!

One Piece!

Ok so, I've been thinking about watching One Piece again! I know it isnt on tv anymore but I can probably find the episodes somewhere. Most likely they will be on gogoanime.com, maybe on hulu.com too. For those of you who dont know what One Piece is, its an older anime about pirates, specifically one named Monkey D. Luffy (loofy), going after a treasure named One Piece so that he can become king of the pirates. For those of you who dont know what anime is, its basically japanese cartoons.

Its not that good of a picture of him but its fine. Luffy is basically made of rubber because he ate this weird fruit called the gum-gum.

Wedding Reception Blues

This past Saturday, my family and I attended a wedding reception for my brother's friend Will. Will and Brandi got married down in Tennessee and had the reception up here. It was fun but the food wasnt the best. I got my brother Ryan onto the dancefloor with me to YMCA and he said he hated me after that but I knew he didnt. We got to meet his date Alyssa and even got her to dance. It was really fun. One song that came on though made me sad because I was the only one sitting at the table. It was a slow dance and Ryan and Alyssa were dancing and even our parents were dancing. I felt so lonely but soon recovered when we did the Cupid Shuffle.

Photo Scavenger Hunt!

The light shining in through the kitchen window excentuates the vase full of flowers against the opposite wall in the late afternoon.  The array of different flowers shone in the light and created beautiful contrasts.

The falling snow creates an almost surreal fealing and hints to a fantasy within the trees. The trees provided the winter homes for many little creatures lost in a dream land.

Two hands combine to create a heart, the symbol of love and trust. The owner of the hands contained a nature fitted for such a symbol.

Fish-Eye!

My cousin Elizabeth is letting me buy her old fish-eye camera for only $40! I am getting the camera Saturday! Thats basically just in time for the photo-project! Great Timing Elizabeth! This has been a pretty good week for me!

80's Day!

Today is the day I get to dress in 80's garb! I cannot wait! I have rainbow socks, neon pink converse, purple and green leg warmers, black leggings with jean shorts, and a Billy Idol shirt! My hair will also be poofed out past my shoulders! I dont even have to rat it for that! I just have to fine a ribbon to tie into my hair as a headband! I also have fun earrings! But does anyone know how I should do my 80's make-up?

I'M SO EXCITED!

 I finally got to see "Underworld Awakening!" I LOVED it! And there is going to be another one after it! I can't wait! Also I get to dress in 80's garb Friday after school! My hair is going to be larger and more poofy than normal! But I'm not sure if I should wear my Billy Idol shirt or my Huey Louis and The News shirt for it...decisions, decisions. Im planning on taking pictures and using one for the photo project too. I love the 80's!

Sick

Being sick SUCKS! I feel terrible. My throat hurts, my nose is stuffy, and I can't stop coughing and blowing my nose! Last night I woke up every hour! My mom came into my room at 3 am just to give me cough syrup. What's worse is that its finals week so I can't miss a day unless I want to come in on Friday to make up tests. Luckily I have a doctors appointment after school today. At this point, I don't really care what I have to take...I just want to feel better. 

Finals Yikes!

Finals have got me sooooo worried! Also the review packets just make me stress more! I know that we do them to help us study and we will be happy we did them later on probably, but right now it just seems like a lot of work. I have done review guides for science,English, and Spanish; I am doing one in journalism, and social studies currently as well. Yes, I know that finals are extremely important but I cannot wait for them to be over!
