Ryan's Birthday!

I don't know the next time I will be near a computer to blog so Hi again! Today is my brother Ryan's 22nd birthday! I gave him Star Wars sleep pants and shirt. He is a big fan of Star Wars and he loved it! It was either that or Grinch pants. Our mom and her friend Jackie called him from work and they sang Happy Birthday over the phone! That happen right when he woke up. So far he has had a pretty good birthday.

I am SO sorry that I haven't posted anything in a while. I haven't been near a computer so I couldn't post anything. I hope everyone had a great Holiday! I also hope everybody is ready for finals when we get back. Good Luck to everyone.

I'm Me

 I just decided to upload this poem. I got the idea for it from watching one of my favorite shows. Let me know what you think.

I know I’m not her

I never want to be

But you just don't seem to get that

No matter how hard I try

You only seem to see her

Its like I’m invisible

Behind a wall only I can see

I can see you but you can't see me

On the other side you seem to see only her

Stop trying to make me into someone I’m not

I'm me and not her, either take it or leave it

Normally I just grin and bear it but no longer

I’m done hiding

Done being invisible

Done being what you want me to be

I’m just me

Take it or leave it

If you still want her don't make me a substitution

I’m not her replacement

I cant believe it!

I cannot believe what just happened. Youtube basically deleted my entire account except for my username. That makes me seriously upset! How could that happen, they didn't even notify me! UGH! This sucks!

Book Number 12!

I am so happy! My brother Ryan got me into reading this series "Legend of Drizzt" by R.A. Salvator last year and I love it. There are 13 books in the series and I am finally on book 12! It took me forever to read book 11. It is a great series about a dark elf named Drizzt and his adventures and friends he has while trying to overcome his dark heritage. I recommend this series to any Fantasy or Action genre lover. This is a picture of book one...

Poem Praise!

I post various stories, poems, and fanfiction (stories with characters from other things) on DeviantArt.com and have for little over a year now. The other day, I posted a poem I wrote titled "Nowadays" and have already gotten 2 comments and 3 favs on it! I'm really happy about that. Most of the time I only post stories but I have been having writers block so I had decided to post some of my older poems. I have a folder full and the one I posted was originally written in January. Its always nice to get my work favorited but it feels even better when poeple actually leave a comment.

Just Saw Breaking Dawn!

My older brother Ryan just took me to see Breaking Dawn! It was amazing! I must admit that parts of it grossed both my brother and I out to the point where we could barely look at the screen. He and I just have a bit of a problem with watching people drink blood when we can actually see the blood going in their mouth. We both agree that it is different watching blood come out in a movie then blood being drank through a clear straw. Anyway, I am actually excited for the last movie! Oh and one last thing...Werewolves Rule!

Thanksgiving and Black Friday!

Thanksgiving was so fun! My mom made a lot of different food and we had friends from church over. Brad and Diane brought with them a greenbean casserole and pistachio jello. It was fun watching Brad eat because he is really skinny but he kept loading up his plate, I think he ate three total. It was a fun night and then around 10:30 my mom and I went shopping for Black Friday. We got home somewhere around 7:30 Friday morning and I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. Unfortunetly, I have a habit of waking up early and so I only got three hours of sleep. But I had a lot of fun and got most of my christmas shopping done.

Why?!

Why do I always get so much homework on White Fridays? I don't mean I get homework from all of my teachers, it's mainly alot in just one class. My backpack weighed 27 pounds with all the books I need for my white day classes except for one book because it couldn't fit! Is that sad? The book that couldn't fit was my smallest book too! That is a serious strain on my back. I am not the only student with a backpack like that either!  Many students have the same problem. We need to figure out a way to make carrying all these books easier.

The First Snow!

I couldnt believe my eyes Friday! I came outside and saw it snowing! When I got home, and it was snowing pretty hard in my backyard, I ran outside and took pictures! I got pictures of the snow actually falling and the bare trees against the gray sky! Then the moon was just beautiful Friday night! I got pictures of that too! Sorry I don't have them up on my computer though so I can't post them. Still though, it was the first snow!

Computer Panic

              My life is on my computer, all of my family and friends know that. I only had a laptop I got from my cousin Elizabeth and I had all of my stories, poems, and pictures on it because I didn't have a flash drive. It was big and heavy but it was my own computer and I was happy. We got an anti-virus software to help protect it. Then soon after, it had started glitching and randomly turning off, so I told my mom. She said we would take it in soon to have it checked out. Before we had the chance though, I went to go on it and it wouldn't turn on at all. That is when the panic started to set in.
               We took my laptop to a computer tech to see what was wrong. The guy said that my computer was fried and that I had lost everything on it. My mom picked me up from school because we were supposed to go to my grandma's house. While we were driving , she told me what the tech said. My stomach knotted up as I to hold back my tears but they slipped through anyway. My tears slid down my cheeks and onto my lap; I couldn't speak. I had worked on so many stories and poems for so long on that computer, those stories were my life. When I thought I had lost them forever, I couldn't move. I just stared out the car window the rest of the way while my mom tried to cheer me up.
              I was depressed for weeks following. Whenever I tried writing again, I would start to tear up again. Finally, I tried to move on and just kept a notebook.

Movie Time!

I just went to the movies and i saw Real Steal! It was awesome! If anyone out there are debating whether or not to go see it, go! I'm not joking when I say this but people were literally cheering on the robots and my dad even whistled like he was there! It is a great movie! I really recommend it! Also the last Harry Potter movie is coming back to theaters November 5 and 6 at either Showplace 12 or 16 for a fundraiser!

A Blog on Blogs!

This is my very first blog so I decided to do it on blogging! I am not really sure how to blog, so bare with me here. I think blogging about speaking your mind! I know this is supposed to be school regulation so we can't speak our minds too freely, but we still get to speak them. Honestly I have never even read a blog before! I read a manga, its like a Japanese comic book, with a girl who's only friends were the two people who read her blog though! I am truly excited about blogging! I almost look forward to people trying to figure out how my mind works.
